• Mr. Miller has over 24 years of oil and gas industry experience in operations, petroleum engineering, and leadership roles. He has managed technical teams and business units.
• Proceeding HOG Resources Mr. Miller was the President and CEO of Navigation Petroleum a private equity backed E&P focused on Powder River Basin Wyoming development that resulted in acquisitions totaling over 35,000 net acres and drilling 13 horizontal wells across the Turner, Parkman, Niobrara Formations.
• Prior to Navigation, Mr. Miller spent 5 years as the District Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region at Carrizo Oil and Gas, overseeing the development of over 100 horizontal Niobrara wells in the Northeast Extension area of the DJ Basin.
• Previously to Carrizo, he was a Senior Production and Operations Engineer with Devon Energy from 2006-2010. At Devon Mr. Miller delivered high rate of return recompletion results in South Texas. He also completed wells in the Bossier & Lower Cotton Valley sands that resulted in a step change of economic results for the Nan-Su-Gail field.
• Mr. Millers’ geographic experience ranges from South Louisiana, East Texas, West Texas, the Rockies, and other notable basins.
• Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
